March 17th is St Patrick's Day. It's time for the Leprechauns. Local HS is having their annual pancake day and craft show this Saturday. Another local carver and I usually team up and have some fun. These little Leprechaun pins will be one of my contributions. They are fun, fast and easy to do. Anybody else carving/whittlin any St. Patrick's Day stuff? Tom H |

Nice ones Tom. I am amazed at how small you carve and still have all of your fingers. Or is it what's left of them. LOL Great pins

Those are cute, Tom! I did do one last month. Showed him off in here somewhere along with a chef. I carved one last year too for a bar owner with the name of Rooney. No doubt there on why they collected Leprechauns. M. |

Thanks for the comments folks. As to whittlin the small stuff with the pocket knife; I do use it almost all the time. However, you might remember that I recently broke the tip off. With the blade re-ground it's like a new knife. What I mean to say is that it is a different knife. Not bad, but it will have to earn its way back to my favorite. Thanks again.... Tom H |
