The pattern was done by Retry. A lot of us have carved it and I did one in the round. Woody it looks like you have been busy!
Thanks again GaryMc for sharing the pattern with us
Goody

| | Re: Silly Santa Ornament #5 (a goodie!) Hi Goody: Just wanted to say how much I like your Santa's and as I mentioned in another post I have been lerking in the Holiday forum. I'm not a carver but I'm interested in relief, but these little Santa's should would be fun to try. I've ordered a bench knife (Stubai) so I think I'll try my hand at one! lol
I admire your work and the work of others in this forum very much.
Kathy
PS: I may have to borrow your quote "BandAids are my Friends". LOL

| | Re: Silly Santa Ornament #5 (a goodie!) Hehe, I am glad yall are enjoying my pattern, even if Goodie if getting the credit.
Woody- you must be a really fast carver, it takes me about 6-8 hr. to carve and paint one of those Santas. Great Job!
Mottles thank you for the compliments, you need to get that knife and start carving, with your artist skill you will be a great carver, I love your Pyro work. I have a Pyro unit also, but have not taken the time to play with it yet. I am having too much fun with the Santa carving and the wood-spirits.
Thanks again!
