Default Santa's painted

Santa is painted and drying waiting for the finish coat. I thank you for all your help on this one.

The eyes aren't carved as smoothly as they should be (practice, Joy) and he is too "flat-faced". But I think he turned out pretty good....for my skill level.

I decided not to relieve the thickness because he is intended for the center of a Christmas wreath and the thickness will help him stand up from the wreath. And I can add a red ribbon to the wreath to balance that red hat

Joy this santa is fantastic,

I really like it
what is the size of it?

i don't see nothing but a little something in the eyes, bugs me, i cant pin it down exactly, maybe one is out of center or something. but it is still a great project. it turned out so much better than i ever could do...
looks so real...whats the secrete,,,,

Joy, he turned out wonderful! He'll look terrific for the centerpiece in a wreath. I'd say your skill level is WAY up there!!
