I'm going to try and get him done before this weekend. I'm off to Knoxville, TN to take the Wayne Shinlever class at Woodcraft. I'm looking forward to it! Thanks everyone for your kind comments and for looking! I'll be sure to post pictures after he is painted!

Okay, I have finally finished the painting, although I still need to work on the base. I made some minor adjustments to the carving. I think his face is too flat and needs some more depth, but I am fairly pleased with the progress. Please let me know your thoughts!

He looks very nice. I don't think his face looks flat from the photo. I really like the detail in your carvings.
