Second one finished last weekend. I used acrylics instead of oil paits on this one and didn't do the darker wash over the beard. I got the nostrils a little better and the eyes are the same size, but I am going to practice on the eyes a bit before doing another. The third picture shows both ornaments. I kinda like the painting on the first better, but I may be comparing apples to oranges since I didn't do the darker wash. I didn't quite get the reddened frost-bit look on the cheeks and noses with the acrylics that I wanted. Anyways....

the new one looks even better, you have a nack for these... I started doing a bunch of these but your are putting mine to shame.

Excellent! Don't care whether it's the first or the 1000th. My first one looked like something from the deep underworld.....scary-scary-scary.
