| | | Santa meets the Indians I just finished a carving for my brother-in-law, who is an avid indian freak. He's posted on my picturetrail site http://www.picturetrail.com/santacarvinlady if you'd like to take a look. He's called 'Indian Giver' :-)

Â*He really has a thing about Indians (had an Indian great, or maybe great, great, Grandmother) and I know what he'll want me to carve!! Â*Great job, I really like him! Â*Callynne |

| | | Re: Santa meets the Indians Thanks, you guys. I was nervous about actually sitting down and getting him done - I knew I wanted to do one for my brother-in-law, but had NO idea what would happen when I got started. I collected lots of pics of indians, etc. It really was amazingly cool - when I finally made myself actually get started on him, he just sort of came to life, almost on his own. I really enjoyed doing him...lol...and good thing, cause I've already gotten a few orders for similar ones!

| | | Re: Santa meets the Indians Thanks, Bark Guy :-) I have a feeling you'll be seeing more indian santas - I was surprised to find him so popular. But, now....show us your stuff? Your name makes me ask - I assume you carve bark, and I just love bark carvings.
