Default Santa for Halloween?

I was asked to do a simple Santa piece for Halloween. Wow, I had to think about how to do that one! :

I put it on the bottom of my home page, if you want a good laugh at the poor guy

Â* Â* Teri, are you kidding, laugh?? I love him! Â*Your Santas are great, l love how you do a scene on their clothes. Â*They are all really terrific! Â*
Â* Â* Â*Can't believe this is coming into the second Holiday season and I still haven't carved any Santas....by next year I should be caught up with gifts for all my kids and grandkids. Â*Hope so!! Â*Between you and Nancy G. I am getting a real itch to do Santas!! Â*Callynne

Yes, Callynne, do find time to do a Santa now and then. There are never enough Santas in the world!

I did a Halloween Santa in 1999. Â*You can see it here:

You can also see my All Season Santa on the same page

OK -- I've never done a Halloween Santa but I've done some Santas as ugly as any witch. Does that count? :.
But I did post some photos of some old witch carvings on WebShots http://community.webshots.com/user/nancymo44

Look in the 'Out in the Sticks' album

SantaCarvingLady
Yours are some of the most impressive santas I've seen for a while. Â*Tell me a bit about your painting techniques.

Thanks Chele,
That came about due to the Fathers Day card my step daughter sent her Father one year. Â*It represented just about all the seasons.
