Default Santa and Mrs. Claus (2)

Just trying out something a little different... The first Santa, from Gene Messer's pattern, is 3.5 inches tall. Both of the Mrs. Claus figures are original - the second Santa is 3 inches tall.

I still need to do a bit more clean-up work, and I need to do something about Mrs. Claus's chin... Doris (or anyone, actually): any suggestions to make her look more like a Mrs. Clause?

Claude

Claude or should I say Santa Claude? I love this couple. I can't wait to see them finished. I am glad somebody else is thinking about Christmas already. I carve Santa while sipping ice tea while it's 96 outside.

I like your Mrs. Santa....esp. the one with the second set on the right. That face looks so true to the Scandinavian Style! Great Work!

Those are looking great Claude. As for Mrs. Clause I think she is looking about right too but I'm certainly not much of an authority on the female species. I know that she's an elderly woman and was wondering if just a hint of bosom might help? Of course, if that's a night gown that you've got her in then I'd imagine that adjustment might not look right. Sooooooooooo... how 'bout a perky 25 year old Mrs. Clause?? Well, it was just a suggestion.

i love the cape on Mrs. Claus. I think her chin looks fine. I would vary the hair line in front....it's hard for me to tell if it is a hat or hair from the front. I really like both couples.
