| | Re: Ornament Exchange? I'm interested, but limited to the amount of carvings I can do. I wouldn't mind doing about 10 ornaments to swap. Maybe if I started now I could do more. I'm a little worried about not being able to do other carvings. Is it possible to do groups of 10, then go from there. But I'm game to try doing it however you guys decide. Mel

| | Re: Ornament Exchange? Tom...we just had a thread with posts by everyone that wanted in on the ornament swap, you just carve an ornament and send it to another carver and you get one in exchange....as for those not wanting to do the whole list, not sure how to handle that? have to think about it, maybe someone else can come up with way. It isn't fair to just pick and choose who you want to swap with, it should be random, otherwise those great carvers we have here are going to be working their butts off and the rest of us will be left out lol. ![004[1]](http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/forum/images/smilies/004[1].gif) Last year I believe the list was a total of about 13/15, not positive and didn't keep the list...I should have! |

| | Re: Ornament Exchange? I'm in on the swap this year and I also vote for the day after labor day. We can go ahead and get started on the carving, and then we will be ready when the names and addresses are posted to start sending. What do you think?

| | Re: Ornament Exchange? I like the idea of after labor day. Yep, gives as at least a month to get some going and from that time at least 3 and a Half months to get some more carved and sent out in time.
Like I said, Maybe not good enough but willing heart for sure.
Let's do it.
may try some more top hatted Santas.

| | Re: Ornament Exchange? Oh, I'd love to join in, but I have to be realistic - there already seems to be a good list going already! Maybe in a couple years. OR, maybe I can start now for NEXT year's exchange!! Now that, I think I can handle! | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
