Default Old World Santa

Mary finally got around to painting this fellow. He is carved from a block of Basswood and painted with oils. About 20" high.

very nice.
Those are the most detailed fingers I have seen on a Santa. Good job!
Thanks for letting us see him.

Thumbs up Re: Old World Santa

Doug,

Nice Santa and I really like the paint job.

Woody01,

I just wanted to say congrats on being featured on the latest cover of "Chip Chats". It was a good article too and the pictures were great of your Santas. So, is it true you are going to just trade your Santas instead of selling at a gallery?

Thor-- Since you liked the hands I thought I'd send along a better pic of how I treated the hands. These pics will give you a better look.
