Another good one Gary love those branch santa's. You are really getting good at them maybe I should try some for the Christmas tree this year.

Gary,

I've noticed a definite transistion with each of the branch santa's. Each time you have added detail that has enhanced the overall appearance.

You mentioned trying something different on the hair....I suggest using a gouge to sort of rough out the flow of the hair and then go back and add detail. This could give you more of a "flowing" appearance. --just an idea for something differnent.

Mitchell, actually I did just what you said, but it does not show up very well in the pictures, that is one of the things I have been playing with. One other thing that did not show up very well in the picures is that I used brown as the base under the beard and not gray like I have been using.

Thank you Mottles, The next on is actually a branch woodspirit. It's almost finished just got to apint the eyes and spray a finish on it. Maybe today.
