Default New Santas for 2004

Hi all. Well, I finally got around to trying to post a picture of my Santas on the Picture trail site. If you have a min. check them out under the Holiday carving section. I'll try to post more in the near future. Thanks to Nancy and Colin for their help. Davehttp:www.picturetrail.com/carvers-R-us

Very nice job Dave, I like the carvings and your newly found painting technique, keep it going, its always fun to learn a little bit more, tweak it to the next level with every new carving attempted. Coffeeman

Wow - great stuff Dave. I tried to pick a favorite and couldn't. All three are lovely. You have cause to be very proud.

Hi Guys, thanks for the nice comments. Its always fun and challenging to try something new. After talking to Al Longo and Teri last year, I finally bought myself a woodburner....what a fantastic tool. It really has opened up some new doors to adding detail. I always wondered how some carvers could do some of the really fine little detail...now I know how some of it is done. Its so nice to have lots of people to learn new techniques from. Dave
