Default My first ornament

Hi,

Just thought I'd show you my first ornament carving. Some time ago I had bought a Santa roughout from Tim Berry. He had sent along with the roughout (which I haven't finished yet) a cutout of a Santa ornament. Here's what I did with it. Thanks for looking.

Chipper,

That is one fantastic looking ornament. Both the carving and the painting are very well done. I especially like the eyes.

How did you do the texture on the puffy hat parts? I really like your paint job, and the eyes are very well done.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.

Thor,

I just used some Snow-Tex for the hat trim and ball.

Nice santa and I like the way you painted it. Now you'll be carving santa ornaments all year round.
