Dave,

Carving the pits? Tell me more. Do you dry them first or carve them green? What do they look like when dried and what do you carve them into? Do they look like ivory when dry? I've carved apples and sweet potatoes and let them dry--and of course, pumpkins, but this is a new one. Can't wait to see what you've done with them. holidays!

I can tell you one thing Dave, If tried to long, the pit/seed spits. Made my littlest GD anger after I threw the pit away she saved for me as it cracked all over it. Well a trip to the local donut/roll shop and a glass of milk and followed up with a stop at Wall-World for a toy made her happy again. Now to figure out how to make the little bride happy

!Maybe carve it wet!

Yeper, had a chance in the 50degree wealther to cook them out on the Grill,so I did. Love the BBQ grilling. Nice change in wealther after -4 and a high in the middle teens for several days.
