Default Monkey & Santa

This my latest Santa, this is the old toy, the monkey that clang the cymbals. Although you can not see it I been using ultra fine glitter on top of my paint, which adds a very nice yet mild sparkle. I really like this santa face,.... he has a very mellow look on his face. Basswood with Koa base. 12 inches by six"

Just a question. How long does it take you to complete such a carving. How many hours do you spend each day on your carvings? Thank you. Dino

I agree - his face just has a wonderful jolly glow. Great choice of colors.
