Default Mini Santa

This has to be the smallest thing Ive done that had detail. It was really fun. I was inspired by Mel. Thanks Mel

I have so enjoyed seeing one carver post something that inspires another carver to try something new for them. Mel, you've done a great job of passing your enthusiasm along, and Steve you've put own style into your own. Now, I've gotta try that too!
What fun.

Looks great Steve.
As a owner of one of Mel's "little guys", I can see how one would be inspired!

Nice antiquing and highlighting of detail. Looks like a perfect candidate of the Jenga Block kind!

Thanks for posting!

Your welcome Steve I'm glad that I could inspire you what a great compliment. Byt the way I like him , specially like his expression. You did a great job on your first mini , thanks for sharing him with us Steve. I've done a couple of these in the last 2 weeks alas the boss lady claimed them. I too have found that this site has a ton of folks whos work inspires and challenges me.
