Default Lynn Diel Nativity

I just finished carving Lynn Diel's nativity scene from the book on flat plane carving. I made me a small version of a shave horse to help hold while I did the angles. It worked out great for me. I think for the finish I will use danish oil. I already have a picture if the mini shave horse in work bench ideas thread.

Ron,
Want to sell the set? I'd be honored to have such a neat set of your work! Maybe ebay, make me compete to own it!

This set was gone before it was barely started. I might have to try and make some more.

Ron, we (Ozark Mountain Woodcarvers/Silver Dollar City) have the pleasure of having Lynn participate in the seminar each spring. Your nativity set looks as good as anything that I saw carved there, and their were some very good ones.

Lynn is a popular instructor and obviously a good author of carving books. You, my friend, are also a very good carver. Congratulations.

Ron,

You did a wonderful job on the Nativity set. The pieces look great. You are truly an inspiration.
