| | Looking to Trade a Santa for.... Hey Everyone,
It's been a while. Hope you've all been well.
Well, Christmas is fast approaching and I wanted to propose a trade. If anyone's interested (or know anyone who may be interested in a hand carved Santa). I'm searching for Vintage Strawberry Shortcake dolls for my daugther, Mary. So, if anyone has any, or knows of anyone, who may have these lying around collecting dust, I'd be happy to do a trade.
For all the men, many of you may have given these to your daughters back in the 1970s & 80s!
I know it's a long-shot, but figured I'd throw it out there. Please PM me if interested.
Thanks,
Jillsy |

| | Re: Looking to Trade a Santa for.... Can't help you with a trade, but if you go to eBay and search for "strawberry shortcake doll", you'll get around 1300 hits. You could put the Santa up for sale on eBay, and then use the proceeds to buy the SSD.

Yes, that's what I've been doing - using my Ebay carving sales to buy my kids their Christmas presents. I figured if anyone wanted to trade, I'd be just as happy doing that too. And if they just had some lying in an attic somewhere, we'd both make out on the deal!

Hey, while we're on vintage dolls, I'd also be willing to trade for other vintage toys. While I get my kids the new toys that are "in" today, I think the ones from my childhood have alot of character. Maybe I'm just being nostalgic, but these old toys (l1970s, early 1980s) my kids love to play with.
So, feel free to clean out those closets and let me know what you have! I've got 5 months to carve before Christmas!

I just gave away a Tonka Dump truck to a freinds boy. It would of been a great Christmas present for your son.
