| | Latest Santa holding a fish (Muskie) This is my most recent Santa. The pic isn't the best, the file was cut down to send via email and lost most of its quality. The muskie was done separate from the Santa and I've placed glass eyes in it wich I got from antique fishing lures that I collect also. I also did a santa holding a largemouth bass, I'll have to get some pics. I started carving in March of 06 and to date this was my 27th santa. I usually don't carve as much over the summer because I do as much fishing as i can, and carve more in the fall and winter months.
Thanks for all your responses on my other post, I like this forum, and all of you make eveyone feel welcome.

| | Re: Latest Santa holding a fish (Muskie) Nice fishing Santa, Jason! I was just teasing you about the dime. Carving small stuff is a lot of fun! For example, here's a thread from a while back on carving small things from Jenga blocks: Jenga Blocks: Anyone taken the challenge?

| | Re: Latest Santa holding a fish (Muskie) Great work! Of all the santa's I've carved I don't believe that his shoes are in view on any, so I like his shoes... or boots! |
