HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, you are a hoot Dave.

Tom, I am trying to do a light under cut and then just taking a sliver of wood from that ulight under cut. Hard to explain. Some times I "git r done", sometime I don't.
Thanks for giving me the idea on these Leprechauns. I like carving them and revising my Santa pattern.

Ok Kenny since you asked ...

and everyone seems to want feedback , I personally think you could do better. It is a nice small piece and out of your top hat pattern, but it looks like you wanted to finish it quick .

I think it has good form , but your painting will change it and bring it out more. Where it is finished to at this point , it is good but I have seen you really put time into some pieces and this one doesn't show that time.

Ash

And now Kenny I will go crawl under a rock and pout for posting this.

That bad eh? Well Ash, you are correct as it was a quickie 25 minute one. To see if I could improve my speed with the Stanley No 199 utility knife. Just wanted to find out for myeslf.
Dave, ya mean it has to be painted green. Maybe a Red Valentine Leprechaun? No?

Ron, I am so sorry, The ornament is of a leprechaun based off of my Top Hat Santa pattern but with a rounder head and hair from the brim of the hat to a littke below the chin. No mustach with a little grin on his face, Eye are close, dreaming of all the gold coins he has.

It isn't painted yet but it seems Hi Ho wants the hat painted GREEN, of all colors. Go figure a leprechaun has to wear a green hat. I was kind of thinking outside of the box on the color of this one, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Thanks all. Just a side note here. I really did not think anyone would come back to the larger Leprechaun ornament.

Sounds like a great project. I agree it would be better painted.

Being a proud owner of a tophat Santa, I think the Leprechaun looks great Kenny.
