Default An Idea I'd like to share

I have this idea on a monthly ornament carving post. I'd like to see if anyone else would be interested in it.

I'm not sure on how a sticky post is made, but my idea would be to 'sticky' a January Ornament post on top and we carve ornaments during the month of January and post them under that post for the month. We then unsticky it and put up a Febuary Ornament post at the beginning of Feb. And do this all year long with each month to share a years worth of ornament carvings.

The ornaments dont HAVE to be Christmas related. Ornaments can be used for many things, like zipper pulls, key chains or light pulls or to hang from your car mirror or carved in cedar to hang in the closet.

This could be inspiring and we could build up a good supply of ornaments by next fall for exchanging.

What say you? Would this be fun or is this not a good idea?

I didnt get a chance to join in this year. I had to save what I had on hand for a local sale.. only to have it cancel out on me two days before hand.

I just think it would be fun.. I can forsee all kinds of ornaments coming in those months, like , Easter bunnies, Leprechauns, Spring birds/flowers, Fish or frogs or lures for the fish opener month, Hunters in the fall, Uncle Sams, Spookies for Oct. Turkeys or pilgrams for Nov. And of course a Santa every month too...
