| | Holloween Witch When our club had the "Bishops" seminar last month, I purchased some extra roughouts, this is their "Witch Broomhilda".
Basswood, 12" X 5", acrylic paints, Deft spray finish. I painted the eyes black for a gloomy/mystical look, and the skin an off shade of pale green instead of flesh color. Anyway, she'll be out by the candy bowl all month long.

| | Re: Holloween Witch Must get my hands on a "rough out" to encourage me try a carving like that. The trick or treaters should be entertained when they feast their eyes on her come Halloween. Great job.

| | Re: Holloween Witch Hey Bill, I really like the way you were able to capture the draping folds in her dress. I always have a hard time achieving this look. It's fun seeing Halloween carvings!
