Default Holiday Ornaments

Hello fellow message board visitors:

I’m Mark Weinstein, the new assistant editor at Wood Carving Illustrated. I’m looking for reader input for an article I’m writing about people who make hand-carved holiday ornaments and give them to relatives. I’d appreciate receiving emails in the next couple of days with information from carvers who make such gifts.

Please send me your name and the town and state you live in as well as information on the kinds of ornaments you are carving, how many you are making, the kind of wood you are using and the recipients. I am also interested in your thoughts on what is “hot” now in ornaments.

The article is scheduled to appear in the next issue of Wood Carving Illustrated. Please send your responses to me at mark@carvingworld.com by July 7.

Thanks, and I hope everyone has a fun and safe July 4 weekend.

Mark, there are quite a few members who carve Christmas Ornaments and exchange them with each other. I unfortunantly am not one of them
