just to let you know I tried three times to carve this bear and ended up with a large pile of chips and no bear! that was an excellent job, one I am finding very hard to duplicate. You should be proud of your work. meantime, I keep making chips for the rose bushes....

Rick...

You sound like me.... I find it hard to carve without a pattern or at least side and front views which I convert to patterns. Spontaneous does not describe my carving style!
