Default Ho-Ho- Ho

Need to take a break from the staff, so I wanted to do a few tree hangers that will be sent out.

Goody's teaching shows =)

Anyway staying with my normal refusal to paint , I wanted there to be a reason not to paint so ,

They are cut out of red cedar pen blanks to add to the smells of the Season.

Those are really nice and it would be ashame to mask the cedar smell. Those will make real nice gifts for sure.

Just got through rejuvinateing and old cedar chest me Mudder build when she was in high school in the late 30's. Sanded down the insides and brought back the cedar smell.

Very Nice Gary! Will they keep the moths away from the tree? I have never tried to carve Red cedar, I guess it carves well. Tom H

Ash, boy when you take a brake you are still productive. I like your tree hangers and I love the smell of cedar. Good Job!

Thanks all ,

They really are fun. I was a bit skeptical about using cedar, the first time I cut cedar I hated it. Splinters cracks just raelly a nasty experence. But I have learned so much since then , the cedar was a real joy. And for a carving to take an hour and a half from square block to finished is really nice change from what I have been doing.

Thanks again all ,

Garry
