Hello everyone! I was doing my usual 'google' search on woodcarving and found this site.
Being from a town of 900 in the middle of Iowa I have many 'cyber' friends...this looks like a great place to add to my list!
Thought I'd post my initial greeting on the 'Holiday Carving' board....I'm a full time Santa carver (Halloween too) so this is where I'll usualy be lurking about!
I recognize a few of you already...Hi Teri...and Art, if you see this, I swear I haven't forgot and I'm sending you a check for that bark this month!!!
Looking forward to using this site...only about 340 days till Christmas!!!

8)Hi Greg. I just checked out some pictures of your Santa's. Great job! I noticed that you get your cottonwood bark from Montana! I'm also a full-time Santa carver, in Kalispell, Montana. I always love looking at other Santa carver's work. There are so many good carvers out there! I'll keep checking back periodically, to see when your web site is 'reconstructed'! Take care. Welcome aboard you will enjoy the people you meet here some wonderful and talented people. I am not a santa carver but they are trying to make me into one and I am just starting to experiment. Love your carvings and your site as far as it is your style is again different to everyone else and that makes them very unique. Look forward to seeing more of your work make sure you become a regular here.
