Default Head start - Christmas

All this carving activity directed to Christmas got me juiced up to get a head start. Since I like to carve small, the tree ornaments seemed like a good place to start. These are 2 inches tall. By carving lots I am hoping for improvement along the way. Tom H

The 2 inch Santa ornaments are the result of me needing to practice to become better at faces. Thanks: "Carolina Carver", "Sue in Eureka", "Wood-whittler", "Hi Ho Sliver", Colin, and "Whatathat"; for the encouragement. Tom H

Tom, what a great way to practice faces! In the end, you'll have every expression and style down pat! Great idea, great job carving them.
