Default Halloween Pumpkin

Tis the season for Pumpkin carving! Here is a stack of pumpkins that I had sketched out the design in my sketch book. I carved the pumpkins in butternut and the grain looked so good, I decided not to paint them! The next version will be painted though!

Come see this piece live this weekend (October 28 and 29) at the Conewago Carvers Wood Carving Show in East Berlin, PA (see link below for details). Also, if you want to check out Fox Chapels books, this show has two dealers that carry many of Fox Chapels books. I always come home from this show with several FC books from this show!
