Hi gang, My sister-in-law is the one that got me interested in carving. She is a santa carver and I think she does an excellent job although she is very modest and doesnt think she is that good. Last Christmas she did a carving for me that I thought was very unique. The carving is about 6inches tall by about 3inches wide. She does some very remarkable work but I thought that this one was one of a kind. So I thought I would share it with you you can see a picture I took of it at http://www.picturetrail.com in the holiday album. I love him so much that he sits in my living room all year long. Colin

Colin, That carving is really neat. I'd keep it out all year too! Tell her not to be so modest. As far as I'm concerned, that carving is top notch!! |

What a great marriage of two fun things to carve. I'd agree that it should be out year round. My wife keeps my Santas out year too. Santas always make you smile and that is important all year long! Tell her that the carvings are wonderful! Barry |

Colin, that Santa and the Woodspirt is precious.. What a cute idea.. We also saw your five foot rough out and it's going to be great. The face looks good already. We have been trying to get our son to do us a big one with his chain saw. Curtis and Charlotte
