| | Goody's Blank!! Well here it is the blank Goody sent me I finally got up yhe nerve to paint it. I don't want to tell you how long it took but I think it turned out pretty good. I painted it myself with the help of my girl friend Katy she coached me and laughed at me when I screwed up. It was fun though Thanks Goody for the blank!!

| | Re: Goody's Blank!! Colin I offered a blind fold test to her but she wouldn't do it. I told her she was narrow minded. I think it came down to her being afraid of what I would do to her while she was blindfolded. A person feels very helplesss in that sitituation beleive me I know. I kept hearing your'e taking too long but I don't think 17 hours is to long to paint one especially by me. But then we had to go shopping and I said I had to save enough to buy Goody's santa.

Your determination amazes me. Anna offered to paint this for you and you were determined to paint it yourself. Great job buddy. Ash And I were looking over one of your carvings today. I had it my hands for a little while and closed my eyes and wondered how you did it. I noticed when Ash put the freindship cane back together this afternoon The Mountie had his place of honor as the first carving on the cane.
Girlfriend, Smart lady, Refusing that blindfold. I seem to remember a recent post about seeing with your hands. On the other hand Nice Try LOL.
Goody

Amazing my friend.
BTW, was your ears burning today? Talked about you while carving at the Bishop's class. Ah, all good my friend.
Most of those there have had the Bishop's class several times. I am the only newbie, but learn more in tow days thatn I have since carving. Nice people the Bishops.
Finished one and started another one and hopefully, get it finish by tomorrow afternoon so as to paint it also.
One man who with his wife travels from class to class. He just got done with Debbie Edward's class last week and are heading to Branson for 5 days of classes there. He has 3 done and will start a fourth one tomorrow. Wow.
There 13 in our class and each one gets a lot of time with both Phil and Vickie.
We were invited to their house last night after dinner and was given the grand tour of the carvings they have and their shop.
Found out Lynn has carved other things besides cowboys and indians.
Oh, one great thing is we have Denny of Denny tools in the class. Another nice person and very helpfull but he will not make a "sinking V tool". Little joke. Have one more day and hopefully with my notes and poor memory, I will be able to carve better. The little bride has set in each day for a couple of hours and watched and listen and gabbed with the other wives.
Later my friend. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
