Default Gingerbread Santa

Finally got the Gingerbread Santa mounted to the walnut base. He's carved out of basswood and is 8 inches tall.

Nice work Claude. Like the originality of it. Seems a lot different than the usual Santas. I like it!

Great carving Claude! Can you comment on how you attached the gingerbread men and the house? Great work and painting!

Blake: They're hanging on a piece of wire - I think it's 24g copper. I just put a small dab of clear epoxy on the back of each gingerbread man and the holly leaves. The hous has a small hole drilled in the roof and the wire epoxied into that.

All: Thanks for the nice comments. I can't take credit for the pattern, though - it's based on a cross-stitch pattern by Prairie Schooler.
