Little chicks might be fun as would hatching eggs. Children on an egg hunt would be a challenge as would a lot of the Christian themes. There is also the whole spring season you could work with. Perhaps relief carvings of dafodils and other spring flowers. Is it too early for Robins?

Good luck,
Dan

How about eggs with chicks or bunny or just about anything a child would like in the egg. Maybe the top of the egg on the head a peeking out chick.
An easter Lilly. Hmmm, I wonder if I could carve one. Probably not as I am growing tired of carving roses.St Patrick day a leperchan, I have a couple of those to finish up Just my thoughts, which sometimes are faluty.LOL

Nice ida Chuck. Interesting to see what people come up with.

Leprechan busts for bottle stoppers?
Bunny laying on a huge egg, looking all pooped out from painting that big egg?

Chick peeking out from an egg..spooking the bunny that was painting it?

Up here they have chicks in the feed stores that are died bright colors for children.. could carve a bunch of pastel colored chicks?

"Chocolate" bunny? I know you said you sick of bunnies..but..but... Theres so many ideas you can do with an Easter bunny..

A characture with marshmellow peep crumbs on his beard? LOL *gotta have those peeps ya know*

How about a wizard with an painted egg stuck in his beard? And a 'ohh humm' look on his face? Someone hid that egg there for the hunt.

ANd the grand thought of em all... With the economy the way it is.. maybe the Leprechaun is back to work painting Easter eggs for the Easter bunny? Gotta replenish that gold pot ya know...

Have fun.

Marcia
