Default First Christmas

I was blessed with a new Grandson earlier this month so that called for a new project.

From a scrap of basswood.

Enjoy!

There is nothing like grandkids. That scrap of basswood has turned into an instant heirloom.

Nothing better than making an heirloom gift. I love and cherish all of the things that my grandpa did for me.

Talking Re: First Christmas

Now you have trouble!! I carved some ornaments for my grandchildren a few years ago. Then my kids wanted to know when I was going to make one for them.

Well after the first year I was informed that hand carved ornaments each year is now "Tradition" So it's now 10 each year. All carving for the last 2 months of the year has been taken up with "Tradition".
