I like that Santa! And the pictures are nice and clear. What does this portable lighting studio look like? How big is it?

Nice ornaments Kenny. You're another carver that has mastered the eyes. The eyes really make your Santas stand out. Tom H

Marci, The little bride got it at Wall-Marts for $49.95. It is 16 x 16 x16 inchs with two colored back drops of Blue and grey. Love the Blue and Grey! IT unfolds to make like a box. made from a specially woven ,heat resistant, nylon fiber mesh diffuser on both sides and top. Two high output lights of 20 watts using Gu10-c light bulbs. a sturdymini tripod and once folded up and everything put away in its case, the case is 16 X 16 x 1/2 inch. Neat.

Course one could probable build it for less but doubt any more portable. I like it.

Mel, No, I turn the flash off and went to an up close setting on the micros.

See, I do read what people has posted and hopefully learned. That and the nativity scene were the first two items I have used it with. Less than 5 minutes to set it up. But let the lights cool down before you put them away. Again, less than 5 minutes to teardown and fold away.

We have been doing a little Ebay selling and will be using this for the small items.

Definitely a difference using the tripod.

Thank you all for the nice comments. I appreciate them.

Great Santa Kenny. The lighting booth sounds like a great idea to check out.
