Default daddy bear and baby bear

A couple of years ago I bought a glass ornament that was a adult bear with a baby bear riding laid down on the big bears back. My daughter [then 8] said it was like us baby bear and daddy bear. [I love that kid], but our tree fell over thst year and the ornament broke. I was probably more sad than she was. We have looked everywhere without finding another, so I am gonna try to carve one. I dont do much wildlife, but dont need it too realistic. Ive got a pattern from a Rick Butz book for the big bear but I am in a quandry about carving the baby bear to ride on back.
ANY suggestions?? Thanks Steve

There is an article "Black Bear Cub" in the WCI Fall 2001 issue. He is sitting on his hind with one front paw raised. It shows you how to carve it step by step. I think the pattern could be easily adapted for what you need. You can get a copy of the article from Customer Service.
