All I can say is WOW! They look great. I think the fishing Santa looks just like Santa. Great job. How do you get them done so fast? |

Thanks everybody! Guess I'm getting faster because I'm spending more time carving (and loving it!!). Yes, they'll all be at FolkWorks Woody, I'd love to be there too but don't know if I can make it. Sure would love to meet you all 'in person'! Someday hopefully!! Right now I'm thrilled just to have my Santas making an appearance. Thanks again! Callynne |

Hi Callynne; I'd love to see your work, but I cannot access the website you listed above. Could you let us know what it is again, and if there is a password. I new to this thing. You can check my work out at www.snowcottagecarvings.com if you have a couple of mins. Make sure you sign the guestbook for me. I sell my work at Folkworks in Chicago, and Reasons to Believe in Kirkland Wash. I'm looking forward to meeting Teri Embry this summer in Kirkland, and someday, I may actually make it to Folkworks for the Nov. opening. Thanks Dave

Hi again Dave! The site I mentioned above is this Bulletin Boards site to post pictures on. Just go to http://www.picturetrail.com, where it says Visit Albums type carvers-R-us, that will take you to our albums. Feel free to post pictures there, just use the password carve in the member login. We love seeing everyones work...and yours is so fantastic!! I just have a few pictures on the Picture Trail site, if you want to see more of my work go to http://photo.epson.com, in the Visit Albums box type callsr@csonline.net. You shouldn't need a password for any of the albums but if it asks for one, it is Callynne with a capital C, the site is case sensitive. As I mentioned, I have been carving for two and a half years so all my work is on there, except for number 34, another Santa of course, which is what I'm working on now. I'm selling through FolkWorks too, so maybe we'll meet there someday, how great it would be to meet all my new friends! Callynne |

Hi Callynne,Thanks for taking the time to give me the address. I got in there and took a good look, GREAT WORK....I wish I was close to being that good after only 2 1/2 years!!! I carve just about every day. I was fortunate to add on a studio to our home last year...so I can just roll out of bed, and right into my studio. I'm carving just about ONLY Santas, so all of my studio is Santas, and Santa art...Christmas all year round. My friends love coming over and just looking at everything there. Keep up the great work. One of these days I'd love to get to Folkworks, but I live in Canada...just North of Spokane, Wash...and you DON'T want to know how much it would cost to Fly to Chicago. I'm also afraid that in Nov. I'm trying to figure out how I can go without sleep so I can keep up with the work load...nice problem I know. Someday though, I'll meet all of you guys. Talk soon, Dave

Callynne, Beautiful work! I hope to be able to carve with such beauty and grace. For now I am gonna have to be satisfied with the tranquility it will give me. Just beginning as stress relief! Brad |
