Thanks one and all for the compliments. Since I was raised on a cotton farm, I thought the theme might be appropriate for my trip back home. Most of the class have the same type roots. The fun will be how to pose and dipict the next Santa.

Nice Job Ed! And yes in my high school days there was fair money to be made "walking the beans" cutting volunteer corn from the soybean fields.
Funny thing Hay is made with large equipment these days, I pity todays youth that never experienced working in a hay mow when the temp was in the 100's.

Jim: I doubt you could find many kids that even know what a "hay mow" is. Times are really different now, with all the automation. Have a good day.

Ed, I think this guys is fantabulous! So well done. You inspire me. One of these days...I'm going to be able to carve and original. WOW! You'll get lots of attention at your reunion, for sure. What a great conversation piece.
By the way, do you have a site where I can see all of your carvings?

Hey Ed Great carving! Ain't it the truth about the hay mow, I remeber throwing hay bales at 14 and hating every minute of it. But now that I look back at it, it weren't so bad. Ah the good ole days.
