Default Colonial Santa

Just want my friends on this board to know that I am still alive and kicking.
Have not been doing to much carving lately. My daughter Nancy has been after me to carve a blue colored Santa. She wanted it for her birthday, April 15th. To speed things along I decided to use a Stu Martin roughout that I purchased years ago. He had a great sale and stocked up.

Nancy will get her blue Santa This Sunday.

It is about 12" tall. Hope it's wat she wanted. Maybe this will get me going again.

Woody,
what a nice job on the Santa. Your daughter will be thrilled with him and he will become a family heirloom...... I like the base too. Adds an extra touch of class to a piece.

Excellent job....Beautiful painting. But exactly why did you call it a "Colonial" Santa?
