Great job on the pins and ornaments, this is a fun time of the season, except those occassional Christmas eve shoppers who can't understand why you don't have any thing left.Had that 2 years in a row,and the same person, but last year he made a order in Oct. |

| | Re: Christmas Sales start Great job on the carvings TomH. I agree, the toy purchases are a little difficult this year. I have a 2 yr old and it seems as though all the popluar toys are made in China and are being recalled. It looks like we all need to focus on buying things made in the USA to make sure we are safe. Besides, if anything it could boost the economy.
Good work and fast thinking! Thanks for promoting the craft of woodcarving!

| | Re: Christmas Sales start Wow, looks like I picked the perfect year to buy my kids vintage Strawberry Shortcake and Little People toys. No need to worry about recalls!

| | Re: Christmas Sales start If this past weekend (Nov 23 through Nov 25) was any indicator of peoples willingness to spend some money on handcarved Christmas pins and ornaments; then those who sell these items better carve lots of them. I sold out on Sunday...even two Santa pins that were attached to my suspenders. Took orders for a bunch more.....Hope it is as good for the rest of you all who may peddle your Santa pins and ornaments.....Tom H |

| | Re: Christmas Sales start Guilty on all accounts, yup played with mercury, my dad had huge jug of the stuff it was in a bottle that was about the 16oz bottle size, like a lot of folks I played with it. I even remember gnawing on some paint chips.
The good new is everyone but my family thinks I'm normal.
