to those who are just now receiving my ornament-- please accept my apologies-- the PO put the same postage as before on the pkgs. anyway-- when looking at the ornaments i received-- i really feel inadequate. i have several ideas for next yr and will start soon-- so that "maybe" mine will be on par with the rest of you by dec. we all recieved very nice ornaments and i got some great ideas of ones to make to sell for next yr. im still amazed at the quality of the detail in the ones i recieved-- steve's ornament is a fantastic way to work on faces and would be so easy to sell the ones you work on while improving your skills-- i have been working on sq sticks to do faces-- so boring and also not easy to use (sell). and the thought of using scraps to do smaller ones is fantastic-- i like to make something from nothing. ive been making kitchen utensils from smaller limbs while cutting fence posts (hedge) right now am looking for some limbs with 90 degree bends to make soup ladles-- have done spatulas and some spoons-- right now most of what i make is going to reinactors (civil war) but i started using mine in the kitchen-- doesnt damage teflon and works great on cast iron too
better stop-- ive really gotten OT.
again thanks to you all for the inspriations and great ideas and especailly the ornaments.

Hey Chuck I got the tree yesterday and it's great. Hey Buddy don't ever feel inadequate in your carving skills, my wife and I treasure all the ornaments the same, as I am sure everyone else does. They are from people I condiser my friends although we live in all corners of the country and may never meet. I think we realize we are all at different levels in our carving skills, and that's the best part of the whole process. I did not join the first couple of swaps because I felt my carvings were not as good as they should be, and I now feel that was a mistake.
I have my full set and to all those who sent carvings I want to say THANK YOU, they are all great and each one a treasure. I am looking forward to next year and if the Good Lord's willing and the creek don't rise plan on being in the swap. Thanks Everyone.

I have received all of mine. I still am amazed that each one is unique although I really shouldn't be. That's what makes carving so special.
Thanks to everyone.

It is not you. The person has been notified in previous posts. Don't know what is causing the delay.
