Hey folks, count your carvings, check them off on the list and don't assume someone didn't send one, that is RARE! It's 90% of time the post office! Don't be embarassed to mention what you are missing, the folks here are more than happy to make sure you get your carving and that this swap goes on! The one year we had a couple of people weasel out..was very disappointing for all involved...as far as I know that only happened the one year!

I should have been more careful with my comment, I am sorry. Every year every person sent one out. Like you said it was only that one year. I hope I did not discourage anyone from participating next year. I have done this for several year and now I am approaching 50 from my best carving friends.

Cheers

Greg

I am waiting for two but I think they are on their way.

Off topic... Hi Ho Silver, have you really been a member since 1969? When did the message board start? I bet you've seen some changes over the last 30 years in both members and types of carving.

LOL...no...not sure why it says that, I joined I think in about 1997 or 98....long before the current administration....there were a few here then, but not many of us left I think.....Teri Embry was here then, but has since left us...at least haven't seen a post for a loooong time.....offhand, I can't think of who else was here...those of you that were here, remind me! Let's start a new thread, that would be fun! hummmm.....thinking about it, it could have been 1996...that would explain the transposed starting date? "A mind is a terrible thing" ooops...to waste I started a thread in Off Topic!

Mail Guy delivered a very nice wood burning from Tina (Teeburn) today. A very cute and well done biblical scene, that is will become a favorite of my grand kids for sure. Patience; once again, pays off. Thanks Tina.

Tom H

I might have them all now! Great fun, and thank you Hi ho!

I received a very nice ornament from Teeburn this weekend. Thanks so much. The only one I haven't received would be from Chuck.
