Smile Re: Christmas Ornament swap time again!

I had the fortune to to participate in last years ornament swap and it was great .. So much fun and got some wonderful ornaments .. If you have never been a part of it .. you should try it .. you wont be disappointed ...

Unfortunately though this year I regret to say I had it all planned out to do it this year... until Ike got us .. and now there isnt enough time to help our neighbors get back to normal before Christmas ... The work load around here is unbelievable for the damage to lives ..

But let me say that please if you have a chance .. try it .. it's a great thing to be a part of and Dave runs it so smoothly .. he is a born leader in this stuff ..

Maybe next year ,, but .. I support you ladies and gentleman all the way ..

Gene

we have had as many as 16 involved.....we make up a list, you will receive a copy and you carve an ornament and send to each person on the list and will in turn receive an ornament from each person on the list. thats why the early start, so people have time to get them carved and out before Christmas. Enjoy! Dave

Neat idea! I won't have time this year, but something to strive for next year. I never carved a Christmas ornament before, but used to make them out of Fimo and sculpty. I would love to see what people make too.

Dave I had fun in the last one I was involved in. I can't commit to 16 ornaments, but if you plan on doing some smaller groups say 8 or so I can probably sign up.
