| | Re: Basswood Hen egg Santa Look's pretty good there Kenny and after all, it's gonna be hanging on the tree with a bunch of other stuff.
I always thought that the Grand Canyon looked more like a master piece of the heavens looking at it over the spread of miles from a distance than down in the gorge up close looking at a rock!!
Keep at it. |

I think Santa is fun because he can look like anything you want. Sure makes carving him fun.
Keep up the good work!

| | Re: Basswood Hen egg Santa Thanks all.
Tom, that is a hand sewen quilt. the first one My little bride done by herself. My mother and Grandmother hand quilted and me dear mother show my wife or helped her in her training on quilting. I have some qults from my greatgranny, granny, mother and now my wife. Alas, greatGRanny, Granny and mother is no longer with us. Sure glad the little bride took an interest in quilting. My little bride is MY Blue Ribon in life, she can do just about anything.
Mel, Those eggs are addictive. I need to work on cleaner and smoother cuts and painting. Getting there.
Bob, great project and a lot of fun.
Barry, you are so right, You can carve Santa any old way you want
Blake and LB, My carving is a work in progress. Sometimes I see the progress, some times I don't. I just keep on keeping on.
Thanks again all.
