Default Backwoods Santa

There have been so many great Santa's displayed this month ... I hate to even throw this one out at you .. But he is a unusual request from my sister in law for a rather unlovely santa ..

Who knows what people find their fancy durning christmas .. but this is pretty close to what she wanted ..

She said doctor him up as sloppy as possible .. so with a little alteration on a Mike Shipley pattern ... Here he is ..

Isnt he lovely ?

Gene

Gene,

Yes your right its different, but I like it....As soon as I clicked on it what immediately came to mind was the famous line from Jack Nicholson's 1980 movie "The Shining": "Honey I'm Home" (LOL)...Great job on tackling such a hard request, making Santa the opposite of what he really is. Thanks for showing us. Bill

He certainly gets your attention...sort of got a mean and wild look to him. Don't think I ever come across a Santa like that little fellow Gene. Great change from the traditional Santa's we've been viewing lately.

Red Neck for sure, I always new he was. Great carving, sure glad you had the nerve to show it, having seen so many santas this year, it's a treat to see one so unusual.
