Y'all just keep doing what you feel works! If you listen to people who say your carvings should be such and so, your carving will end up looking like theirs instead of yours. Yours is just fine. I like it, but who am I to sayl, just an old red neck. The question is, "Do you like it?" If you do, you have your answer.

Whow, I like the concept too, in addition to the above comments, I was impressed with the back shot, your hood is JUST PERFECT, the folds flow and you get the feeling that a head is really inside and you can't wait to turn it around, great job.

Woody, This piece has a lot of good points. The expression and beard flow give it some motion. The colors (and flowers), set it apart from the "traditional" santas. Very nice.
