Default Another Valentine Gift

I carved a love spoon for my wife for Valentines Day. It came out ok for my first spoon.

The two hearts on the handle of the spoon represents that we both feel the same about each other and our love for each other.

The Heart-shaped bowl of the spoon represents a full and bountiful life together.

Note: After posting the original message I thought I should add that I didn't design the piece from scratch. I did a Google search and found a picture of a similar spoon that had vines on it. I omited the vines to simply the look as well as the complexity since it was my first spoon.

I really like the idea of carving with a purpose and especially something that tells a story. This is also true with totem pole carving and now, it looks like a spoon can convey the same idea!

Nice job and I like the carved-in loop on the top for hanging it up for display.
