Default Another Santa Face To Try

Here is another Santa face to carve that has him winking an eye. Just close one eye, pull the cheek and mouth to the side of the winking eye and you have Santa as he is described in The Night Before Christmas where it says,"A wink of his eye and a twist of his head. Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread".

Just carve the face as you would normally but make the changes mentioned above. Pay special attention to the fibers of the wood coming out of the upper eye lid and you can carve them down to where they are thin enough that light will actually pass through them. It makes Santa look pretty neat!

This may be the Winking Santa, but I think it is the mouth that takes the prize. That is a great smile!

Millard,

VERY NICE, love his whole facial look, the teeth really pulls it all together for me, great balance in all areas, thanks for the inspiration of something new to try.
