Default Another Santa done

I finished my 3rd Santa. I just put it out on picturetrail in the holiday section. All I can say is I wished I would have started woodcarving a long time ago (I started about 8 or 9 months ago). I guess 'better late than never'. Plus, I wished I could do it everyday. When the beekeeping season is over I hope to spend more time doing it. Ha, ha but then we are expecting our second child in Feb. so we shall see. Beeguy

BG,
What type of honey do your bees produce? Â*

I was buying basswood honey but I lost my supplier.
Most of the honey we get here is clover, sometimes we can get fireweed.

That is a nice Santa for your second one.

Hi Rick,

In our area honey is generally produced from alfalfa and sweet clover. But, the honeybees will forage on pretty much whatever flowers they can find. That is why I call my honey 'From the Wildflowers of Yankton County, SD'. Thanks for looking and commenting on my latest carving. I know I have a long way to go in learning woodcarving, but I am sure enjoying the ride. Beeguy

Very nice work, Beeguy!! I know what you mean about wishing you'd started sooner. I'm just thankful I found carving at all! Sure is a lot of fun, isn't it?!! Callynne
