Default Another Goody!

Well. I guess I should explain.
I asked for a blank from our dear Goody and he sent me one, thanks!
Problem was it took three weeks to get here! I e-mailed Goody when I got it and told him I would try, that was last week.
Well I didn't get it done.
But here are the WIP pictures.

I kinda know where you are. I was only able to finish mine just a few days ago! Yours looks pretty good so far. Please post another pic when you finish.

Hello Hisart,
I like the direction you went in, the sunglasses are cool! Want to see him finished.

I agree with GaryMc and the direction with the sunglasses, as well as the hands folded over each other. Nice touch. Yeper, I would like to see it finished also.

Cool Another Goody FINISHED!

Boy do I feel like a shmoo!
I thought I had posted the end results of Goody's rough-out, but noooooooooooo! I forgot to post it!
So here is the finished piece, sorry I took so long to post it!

I liked the wood, it was very light and takes detail nicely.

Thanks again Goody!

Loved your carving and your photography! Started this reply to ask how?, then thought, "you can barely edit your photos, you don't need to try that" so simply let the first sentence stand. Great work, I think this may be one of the most unusual of this blank.

Nice Job. The first time I saw this piece I immediately thought of "Leon Russell" the 70-80's era recording star. Do a Google image search using his name and you'll see what I mean. The sunglasses, beard & mustache and long hair are almost identical.
