Default 4th Of July Carvings?

Any body doing Uncle Sams or 4th of July carvings. Heres some I did for a raffel for the local firehouse.

Goody,

Great job! I like the antique look of the paint, gives them the feel that they just got done working a live fire, very realistic job.

Great job Goody. Like the Firema. Guess because my son is one and I did that type of work in spare time as a volunteer. like the flags in the right hand pointing to the right!Yes the antique looking are great on the firemen.

This one was done in a class I took with Dave Stetson. My wife did the painting. The flag is from a craft store, we carved one for the figure but it is a furled (I believe this is the correct term) and haven’t figured out just how to paint it.
We are headed for Doane the last week of July. Anyone else going?

Goody and Dryheat wonderful patriotic carvings I just love them you guys are way too talented for me. I always admire people that can put that much detail into their carvings great job always enjoy seeing your carvings.
